Cookie Policy
A short, honest account of the small amount of storage this site and application use, what each category is for, and how to turn off anything that is optional.
The short version
- No advertising cookies, no ad networks, no cross-site tracking profiles.
- Strictly necessary storage keeps you signed in and keeps the application secure.
- Preference storage remembers things like light or dark appearance.
- Where consent is legally required for optional technologies, we ask first and you can withdraw it.
This summary is for convenience only. The numbered sections below are the binding text.
01What this policy covers
This policy explains how Leads Ranger uses cookies and similar technologies on leadsranger.com and app.leadsranger.com. Read it alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains everything else we do with personal information.
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website. Similar technologies include browser local storage, session storage and pixels. They do broadly the same job: remembering something between one page and the next.
02Our approach
No advertising cookies, no third-party ad networks
We do not run advertising networks on our website, we do not build advertising profiles about you, and we do not sell or share your browsing information for advertising. We keep the storage we use to what the product genuinely needs.
Because we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking technologies, the only storage that must load for the site to function is strictly necessary storage, and browsing our marketing site does not require you to accept optional cookies.
03The categories we use
| Category | What it does | Can you switch it off? |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Keeps you signed in to the application, keeps your session secure, protects forms against cross-site abuse, balances traffic, and remembers choices you make during a session. Without these the Service cannot work. | No. These do not require consent because the Service cannot be delivered without them. You can still block them in your browser, but the application will not function. |
| Preferences | Remembers settings you have chosen, such as light or dark appearance, language, and interface state, so the site looks the way you left it. | Yes, by clearing site data in your browser. The site still works, it just forgets your preferences. |
| Analytics and performance | Aggregated measurement of which pages are visited and how the site performs, so we can find broken journeys and slow pages. We use this to improve the product, not to identify you. | Yes. Where local law requires consent for these, we ask for it before they load, and you can withdraw it at any time. |
Current state
At the date of this policy we keep our marketing site to strictly necessary and preference storage only. If we introduce analytics or any other optional technology, we will update this policy, and we will ask for consent first wherever consent is required.
04Third parties that may set storage
Some storage is set by providers we use to run the Service rather than by us directly. Where that happens it is limited to the categories above, and each provider is bound by contract to use it only to deliver their service to us. Examples include our hosting and content delivery provider (security, routing and performance) and our payment processor (fraud prevention on checkout pages). The current provider list is published on our Sub-processors page.
Our browser extension stores data locally on your device so it can work while you browse. That local storage stays on your device and is under your control through your browser.
06Changes and contact
We will update this policy whenever what we use changes, and the date at the top will tell you when that last happened.
